Dubai, UAE – Dubai Police have revealed that 395 individuals, including senior citizens, people of determination, and pregnant women, have benefited from the free car repair service offered under the “On-the-Go” initiative. This service, aimed at individuals who have experienced minor accidents, allows their vehicles to be repaired at approved workshops and returned to their residences. This initiative is made possible through a collaboration with Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) and AutoTrust (Al Rostamani).

Since its launch, the “On-the-Go” initiative has benefited a total of 3565 individuals across 138 stations throughout the emirate. This program, a partnership between Dubai Police and fuel companies operating in Dubai, including ENOC, ADNOC, and Emarat, offers six key services: reports of minor traffic accidents, reports of accidents against unknown parties, lost and found service, car repair service, Police Eye service, and E-Crime service.

Captain Majid bin Saeed Al Kaabi, head of the “On-the-Go” initiative, highlighted the significant success of the program. He shared that the initiative has generated 1679 reports of minor traffic accidents submitted by the public at petrol stations across the emirate, 496 reports against unknown parties, 265 cars repaired, 129 reports through the Police Eye service, and 996 lost items returned to their owners.

Furthermore, Al Kaabi announced that 7973 trainees from 18 different entities, including ENOC, ADNOC, Emarat, Dubai Taxi Corporation, Emirates Transport, the International Centre for Security and Safety, First Security Group, Red Security, Aman Security Training, Transguard Group, Emirates Auctions, and several hotels, have received training on how to utilize the “On-the-Go” service effectively.

Al Kaabi emphasized that the initiative has significantly simplified procedures for the public. By reducing the need to visit police stations for minor traffic accidents, the initiative has saved time and effort for both individuals and the police.

This innovative approach by Dubai Police underscores their commitment to enhancing public convenience and safety through strategic partnerships and community-focused services.
