Abu Dhabi, UAE – Miral, a leading developer of immersive destinations in Abu Dhabi, hosted 10 high school students from the Rize University & Career Guidance Program for an educational visit on Wednesday. The visit marked the launch of Miral’s new “Miral Empowers the Community” corporate social responsibility initiative focused on education.
The students, in grades 9 through 12, attended a lecture by Taghrid AlSaeed, Miral’s Executive Director of Group Communications and Destination Marketing. AlSaeed discussed the challenges and opportunities in the tourism industry, highlighting Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Strategy 2030 and Miral’s role in supporting economic diversification.
“By hosting the top students of Rize UPCG Program, we are actively engaging and empowering our future generations through edutainment,” AlSaeed said. “Through Miral Empowers the Community, we strive to create a positive impact across society, fostering growth through wellbeing, inclusivity and learning.”
After the lecture, the students toured Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island, getting a behind-the-scenes look at operating a major theme park and entertainment attraction.
The visit reflects Miral’s commitment to education and skill development as a core part of its corporate social responsibility efforts. By partnering with educational programs like Rize UPCG, Miral aims to empower youth and contribute to building a knowledge-based economy in Abu Dhabi.
The Rize UPCG Program, supported by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, helps prepare high school students for university and future careers through guidance, resources and industry connections.
