Abu Dhabi, UAE – Lewis Hamilton ended a three-year victory drought on Sunday by securing his ninth career win at Silverstone during the British Grand Prix. This remarkable achievement marks his first triumph since the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. As tickets for the seven-time world champion’s final race with Mercedes AMG Petronas sell rapidly, fans eagerly anticipate the FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX 2024 in December.

The 16th edition of the Formula 1 Etihad Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will see Hamilton conclude his 11th and final year with the championship-winning team, Mercedes, before transitioning to Ferrari in 2025. The Abu Dhabi GP will also serve as the last race for Spanish driver Carlos Sainz with Scuderia Ferrari.

Event organizers expect another influx of international fans at Yas Marina Circuit, following a 40% surge in travelers to Abu Dhabi last year. In 2023, 65% of the 170,000 attendees came from overseas. Fans will have exclusive access to the Yasalam After-Race Concerts, with confirmed performances by US pop rock band Maroon 5 and British rock group Muse at Etihad Park.

Attendees will also receive complimentary access to one of Yas Island’s adventure parks or cultural sites, including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, and Qasr Al Watan.

The 24-race F1 calendar, the longest in history, has thrilled fans with Ferrari securing their first 1-2 finish of the season in Australia. Sainz added to his win record following news of his replacement earlier this year. The announcement of Hamilton’s departure from Mercedes, where he won six Drivers’ Championships, shocked fans globally. Meanwhile, Ferrari’s Tifosi eagerly prepare to welcome the British driver after the Abu Dhabi GP.

This season has seen four teams—Red Bull, Ferrari, McLaren, and Mercedes—each win a race, highlighting the competition’s intense nature. Ferrari and Mercedes are the only teams with both drivers securing a Grand Prix win.

Organizers advise fans to book tickets for the season finale quickly, with three-day passes for the Main, West, and North Grandstands already fully booked. Fans can still choose from various ticket categories, including popular spots like Abu Dhabi Hill, Horizon 360, North Straight Grandstand, and West Straight Grandstand, which offer views of the fastest track straight.

Coveted hospitality options such as Luna Lounge, Deck at Nine, and Suite at One return, promising an unparalleled race weekend at the iconic circuit.
