Dubai Police Fully Sponsors Umrah for 60 Employees and Retirees

Dubai, UAE – Sixty male and female employees and retirees of the Dubai Police embarked on a spiritual journey to the holiest sites in Islam, Mecca and Medina, as part of a special itinerary arranged and sponsored by the Force. The six-day trip departed from Dubai International Airport today.

Brigadier Ali Al Mansoori, Director of the General Department of Community Happiness, led the farewell ceremony for the pilgrims, accompanied by 1st Lieutenant Ahmed Khalifa Al Mazrouei, Head of the Islamic and Tolerance Affairs Section at the Security Awareness Department, and several other officers.

Brigadier Al Mansoori emphasized that this initiative aligns with the directives of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police. He stated that the program reflects ongoing efforts to implement humanitarian initiatives that promote happiness and improve the quality of life for employees.

1st Lieutenant Al Mazrouei highlighted that the Umrah journey is one of the many noble initiatives offered by the Dubai Police, demonstrating a strong commitment to enhancing the well-being and happiness of its employees. “These initiatives have a tangible impact on the values and behavior of the employees. They also aim to strengthen their religious motivation by enabling them to visit the Two Holy Mosques in Mecca and Medina,” he concluded.

The Dubai Police continue to prioritize initiatives that foster a positive work environment and enrich the lives of their personnel through meaningful and spiritually enriching experiences.
