Dubai, UAE – Emirati sisters Hend and Hamda Al Abbar, founders of the interior design studio Dress My Room, have reached a new milestone in promoting collaboration among Emirati women entrepreneurs. They have recently completed a captivating redesign for Arcadia, a niche perfumery by Amna Al Habtoor.

The project underscores the creative synergy between two Emirati brands that have established unique voices in their respective markets. The redesign of Arcadia not only reflects its new brand identity but also enhances the customer experience. Drawing inspiration from the elemental forces of water, air, earth, and fire, the new design balances nature’s harmony, mirroring Arcadia’s vision of being a perfumery for the unreserved and unconventional. Dress My Room also integrated the UAE’s rich heritage with intricate patterns, motifs, and historic styles reflecting the nation’s architecture and art.

Reflecting Arcadia’s new brand identity based on natural elements, Dress My Room focused on the flow of movement and personal interactions in the store, as well as the product displays, to enhance the visitor experience. The Al Abbar sisters expressed their enthusiasm for future collaborations with Emirati entrepreneurs to build a culture of aesthetics that honors the UAE’s heritage and culture.

Dress My Room, with Hend and Hamda’s engagement, perfectly captured our design ethos. The new design makes our clients feel welcome and ensures fluid movements and personal space. It has added exceptional value to Arcadia’s unique positioning and has been well-received by our clients.”

Dress My Room’s design approach for Arcadia included creating three islands in the store’s center for product displays and events, allowing more space and creating gathering points. The designers used raw elements from the existing space and meticulously combined materials and colors to achieve a natural look. They worked closely with painters to finalize the design, ensuring that all senses are engaged during the customer journey.
