Dubai, UAE – Supersonic Imagine, a leading innovator in multi-parametric ultrasound imaging, has announced the release of the MACH V4.2 software upgrade, marking a significant leap forward in diagnostic capabilities. The MACH series, known for its cutting-edge technology, has been elevated to new heights with this latest advancement, offering unparalleled improvements in disease diagnosis and management for both practitioners and patients.
The MACH V4.2, built on the UltraFast® Imaging technology, dramatically increases imaging frame rates to an impressive 20,000 frames per second, far surpassing conventional systems. This enhancement not only improves traditional ultrasound imaging but also enables real-time quantitative mapping of tissue viscoelastic properties. Such precision allows for the accurate quantification of clinical parameters like fibrosis and fat content, benefitting a wide range of medical disciplines including radiology, hepatology, musculoskeletal sports medicine, urology, pediatrics, vascular medicine, gynecology, and various research applications.
Among the key features of the MACH V4.2 upgrade are significant enhancements in B-mode imaging quality across multiple clinical applications. These improvements ensure clearer and more detailed images, which are crucial for precise diagnostics. Additionally, the upgrade introduces a new attenuation (Att PL.U.S.) biomarker for assessing liver steatosis, a basic echocardiography package, and an enhanced user experience with accessories like a flexible transducer cable stand, a 3-pedal footswitch, and a biopsy kit. The upgrade also includes automated protocols and customizable reporting solutions to streamline workflow, along with advanced diagnostic tools that facilitate faster and more accurate diagnostics.
“We are excited to introduce the MACH V4.2 software upgrade, which represents a significant advancement in ultrasound technology,” said Sandeep Wadhwa, CEO of Supersonic Imagine. “These enhancements underscore our commitment to innovation and improving patient care through advanced diagnostic capabilities.”
Hari Kaimal, President of Strategy and Development at Supersonic Imagine, added, “The MACH V4.2 software upgrade marks a milestone in our journey to redefine ultrasound imaging. By integrating cutting-edge technology with clinical expertise, we continue to empower healthcare providers worldwide to deliver superior patient care.”
This latest upgrade from Supersonic Imagine reaffirms the company’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of ultrasound technology and enhancing the quality of care for patients across the globe.
