Dubai, UAE – Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, one of the three chambers under Dubai Chambers, in collaboration with Dubai World Trade Centre, has successfully completed a series of 12 international roadshows aimed at promoting Expand North Star, the world’s largest event for startups and investors. Scheduled to be held in Dubai Harbour from October 13-16, the event promises to be a significant gathering for the global tech community.
The chamber engaged with 1,500 startups across 12 cities including Poland, India, Brazil, China, Morocco, France, Switzerland, the UK, and the Netherlands. These roadshows established collaborative partnerships with key ecosystem partners such as venture capital firms, incubators, accelerators, and government-backed entities, with the objective of attracting high-potential companies to Dubai.
Organised by Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, Expand North Star aims to connect the world’s most sought-after startups with innovators, investors, entrepreneurs, and global business leaders. The event will serve as a platform to explore growth opportunities in Dubai and advance the future of the digital economy.
Each roadshow featured presentations on business opportunities in Dubai and the support offered by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy for startups expanding into Dubai’s market. A pitch competition was held during each event, with winners from each city receiving a fully sponsored visit and participation in Expand North Star. This four-day event is crucial for attracting and connecting the global tech community to Dubai, fostering networking, innovation, and collaboration.
