Scheduled from September 27th to 29th, 2024, this year’s event promises to be the largest and most spectacular celebration of Indian cinema yet, as it marks the beginning of IIFA’s journey towards its Silver Jubilee in 2025.
Held under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance & Coexistence, and in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, the event will be hosted at the iconic Etihad Arena. The festival will not only honor the grandeur of Bollywood but also celebrate the vibrant South Indian cinema through IIFA Utsavam, blending the glamour of Hindi cinema with the richness of South Indian film industries.
The three-day extravaganza will kick off on September 27th with IIFA Utsavam, followed by the prestigious IIFA Awards on September 28th, and concluding with the exclusive, invitation-only IIFA Rocks event on September 29th. This year’s event is poised to be a historic celebration, with the powerhouse duo Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar set to headline as hosts. Shahid Kapoor will also deliver a star-studded performance, adding to the excitement.
