Abu Dhabi, UAE – Under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the 21st edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) is poised to captivate attendees from August 31 to September 8, 2024, at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi. Organized by the ADNEC Group, this iconic event will highlight the fusion of Emirati cultural traditions with cutting-edge innovation across 11 diverse sectors.

ADIHEX 2024 promises an immersive experience into the adventurous outdoor lifestyle, offering visitors the opportunity to explore a wide array of activities, including falconry, hunting, equestrian sports, veterinary products, fishing, marine sports, environmental preservation, cultural heritage, arts and crafts, and the latest advancements in technology.

A focal point of the exhibition is the celebration of the UAE’s equestrian heritage. The Arabian horse, a symbol of Emirati pride and a cornerstone of the nation’s culture, will be prominently featured. Known for their endurance, intelligence, and elegance, Arabian horses have a storied history dating back over 4,500 years. They are revered not only for their beauty but also for their vital role in the survival and social status of the Bedouin tribes.

Throughout ADIHEX 2024, attendees will be treated to a dynamic array of equestrian events that showcase the exceptional skill, grace, and deep heritage of the UAE’s equestrian community. The Arabian Horses Society will present a series of insightful talks, focusing on the cultural, historical, and technological significance of Arabian horses. Visitors will have the chance to delve into the rich heritage of these steeds, exploring their role in hunting, falconry, and Bedouin traditions.

The exhibition will also feature captivating displays and interactive sessions, including the Liberty Equestrian Display, where horses move freely without tack, and the Dhabian Equestrian Club’s vaulting sessions, blending gymnastics and dance on horseback. Renowned equestrians like Fatima Alblooshi, a Special Olympic dressage competitor, will share their inspiring stories, while historical recreations by Mamluk Archery and Kaber Stables will transport audiences back in time.

In line with its commitment to sustainability and animal welfare, Zabeel Feedmill, the official sponsor of ADIHEX 2024, will offer insights into recent developments in equine nutrition, underscoring the importance of enhancing horse performance and well-being.

With a blend of tradition and modernity, ADIHEX 2024 is set to be a premier celebration of the UAE’s rich equestrian heritage, attracting enthusiasts from around the world to experience the nation’s deep connection to the Arabian horse and its evolving equestrian industry.
