Dubai, UAE – Warner Bros. Discovery’s Arabic leading Cooking Channel Fatafeat is proud to announce a special collaboration with the Dubai Community Development Authority (CDA) to celebrate Emirati Women’s Day with a unique and inspiring episode set to air on August 28th. This partnership aims to honor the strength, resilience, and achievements of Emirati women, shining a spotlight on their vital roles in society.
The special episode will feature renowned Chef Sumaya, who begins with a heartfelt conversation alongside two women from the Youth Council. These women share their remarkable achievements, including one’s work with Persons of Determination (PODs) and the other’s role as a therapist specializing in addiction. This conversation sets the tone for an episode dedicated to celebrating the diverse contributions of Emirati women.
Following this, Chef Sumaya is joined by Faiza, an accomplished woman working with Dubai Police and a mother of a Person of Determination. Together, they create a meal plan designed to help working women manage their careers while also caring for their children. Chef Sumaya demonstrates how to prepare meals for the entire week using the same ingredients, offering practical tips to empower women in balancing their professional and personal lives. During this cooking session, Faiza shares her own experiences as a mother of a POD, discussing the invaluable support she receives from her workplace to balance her responsibilities.
“Fatafeat has always been dedicated to celebrating culture, community, and the stories that connect us. This collaboration with the CDA for Emirati Women’s Day is a perfect example of how we can use the power of food and storytelling to highlight the incredible contributions of Emirati women,” said Grigory Lavrov, Vice President of Marketing, Local Brands & Franchise Management, CEE & MENAT at Warner Bros.
