Celebrated Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu to Be Honored with Prestigious ‘Woman of the Year’ Award at IIFA Utsavam

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance & Coexistence, the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards will return for an unprecedented third showcase to Yas Island Abu Dhabi. The world’s biggest celebration of Indian cinema will take place from September 27th-29th, 2024, at the iconic Etihad Arena, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and Miral.

The festivities will commence with the NEXA IIFA Utsavam Awards, co-presented by Meteora Developers, on Friday, September 27th. This year’s event will spotlight South Indian cinema and introduce the prestigious ‘Woman of the Year’ in Indian Cinema award. The award honors Samantha Ruth Prabhu for her exceptional achievements in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. Recognized for her versatility and dedication, Samantha has become one of the most sought-after actresses, admired for her contributions to both cinema and philanthropy.

Upon receiving the IIFA Utsavam Special Honour, Samantha Ruth Prabhu expressed her gratitude, stating, “Thanks, IIFA Utsavam, for giving me the honour of The Woman Of The Year in Indian Cinema award.
