Dubai, UAE – In a significant move to bolster international sports cooperation, H.E. Khalfan Belhoul, the Deputy Chairman of Dubai Sports Council (DSC), welcomed H.E. Song Kang Young, the Director General of the Korea Institute of Sport Science, along with his delegation. The meeting was also attended by notable figures including H.E. Saeed Hareb, the Secretary General of DSC, H.E. Majid Al-Osaimi, President of the Asian Paralympic Committee and Board Member of DSC, H.E. Thani Jumaa Balraqad, Chairman of Dubai Club for People of Determination, H.E. Naser Aman Al-Rahma, Assistant Secretary General of DSC, and Mr. Khalid Al-Awar, Director of Communication & Marketing Department in DSC.
During the meeting, H.E. Khalfan Belhoul extended a warm welcome to the Korean delegation and congratulated them on the recent signing of a cooperation agreement with the Asian Paralympic Committee. He highlighted the robust collaboration between the UAE and South Korea across various sectors, particularly in sports. Emphasizing the importance of this partnership, H.E. Belhoul underscored the need for joint initiatives aimed at attracting and developing talent in the sports arena.
H.E. Song Kang Young expressed his delight at visiting Dubai and signing the cooperation agreement with the Asian Paralympic Committee. He appreciated the opportunity to meet with H.E. Khalfan Belhoul and tour the DSC premises. H.E. Song reaffirmed the Korea Institute of Sport Science’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with the DSC, particularly in areas of mutual interest.
