Harare, Zimbabwe – While much of the attention on Day 4 of the Zim Afro T10 was on Australian star David Warner, it was the explosive performances of Najibullah Zadran, Sikandar Raza, and Dasun Shanaka that stole the show at the Harare Sports Club. The day saw dominant victories for NYS Lagos, Harare Bolts, and Jo’Burg Bangla Tigers, with the Bolts now sitting atop the points table.

Zadran Powers NYS Lagos to Victory
NYS Lagos put up a formidable total of 134/5 in their 10 overs, thanks to a blistering knock from Najibullah Zadran, who smashed 43 runs, including four sixes in a single over. After losing Rassie van der Dussen early, Avishka Fernando (36) and Zadran rebuilt the innings, supported by cameos from Ryan Burl (22) and Joshua Bishop (18). In response, Sharjeel Khan’s quickfire 59 gave Durban Wolves hope, but the Lagos bowlers, led by Thisara Perera (2/17), kept chipping away with regular wickets. Despite Regis Chakabva’s unbeaten 27, Wolves fell 10 runs short at 124/5.

Shanaka Stars as Bolts Dominate Jaguars
In the second match, the Harare Bolts showcased their bowling strength, restricting the Bulawayo Brave Jaguars to 96/8. Nick Hobson (35) and Anamul Haque (22) were the only major contributors for the Jaguars, while Shehan Jayasuriya and Richard Gleeson picked two wickets each. In reply, Dasun Shanaka turned the game in Harare’s favor with a match-winning knock of 47*, including four consecutive sixes to secure a comfortable 7-wicket win.

Sikandar Raza’s All-Round Brilliance Seals Tigers’ Win
The final match saw Sikandar Raza deliver a standout all-round performance for the Jo’Burg Bangla Tigers. First, he bowled superbly to take 3/9, helping restrict Cape Town Samp Army to 82/7. Rohan Mustafa’s 28 was the only bright spot for Samp Army. Raza then carried his team with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 64 to lead the Tigers to victory with more than an over to spare, ensuring a 5-wicket win.

With these performances, the Zim Afro T10 continues to deliver exciting cricket, with the Harare Bolts now leading the points table.
