Dubai, UAE – The Dubai International Stadium celebrated a significant milestone on Sunday as it hosted its 100th Twenty20 International (T20I) match, marking the occasion with a high-profile ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Group A clash between India and Pakistan. The match added a historic moment to the iconic stadium’s legacy in international cricket.

The special event was commemorated with a plaque unveiling and a celebratory cake-cutting ceremony. Key figures attending the celebration included Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Emirates Cricket Board, alongside Khalid Al Zarooni, Vice-Chairman, and Jay Shah, Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, along with several other dignitaries.

With the conclusion of Sunday’s fixture, the stadium has now hosted a total of 101 T20Is, comprising 92 men’s matches and nine women’s matches. Following the India-Pakistan game, the West Indies faced off against Scotland in a Group B encounter, making it the 101st T20I played at the venue.

This momentous occasion further cemented the Dubai International Stadium’s position as one of the premier venues for cricket, hosting some of the most thrilling matches in the sport’s T20I history.
