Manama, Bahrain: The Kingdom of Bahrain is preparing to host its second Gateway Gulf forum, an exclusive investment conference bringing together 250 high-level delegates from around the world. The two-day event, scheduled for November 3-4 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Bahrain Bay, will focus on “Investing in a Rapidly Transforming Region.”

Organized by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), the invitation-only forum will feature senior government officials, C-level executives, and prominent investors from America, Europe, Asia, and the GCC region. The event aims to facilitate investment opportunities and promote economic integration through plenary sessions, workshops, and private meetings.

A key highlight of the forum will be discussions on regional collaboration and co-investment opportunities, particularly relevant as global supply chains continue to evolve. The event will also showcase large-scale projects in an exhibition space, with several greenfield investments expected to be announced.

The timing of the forum coincides with significant economic growth in the Gulf region, which is projected to expand by 3.5% in 2024, reaching a combined GDP of USD 2.1 trillion. Bahrain, recognized as the Gulf’s most diversified economy with 84% of GDP coming from non-oil sectors in 2023, continues to focus on developing high-value sectors and digital transformation initiatives.

The forum will feature Majlis-style sessions pairing ministers with private sector executives, along with focused roundtables addressing global challenges across key industries.
