Dubai, UAEThe Art be a Part Gala (#TAG24), with Ellington Properties as the principal partner, is set to take place on November 6, 2024, at Bâoli Dubai. This event, founded by Medha Nanda, aims to raise critical funds for Dubai Cares and UNICEF India, supporting efforts to promote inclusive education for children with special needs. Art be a Part, through its SpArK (Special Art for Kids) initiative, uses art as a medium to advance education and welfare programs for underprivileged and differently-abled children, emphasizing the vital role of creativity in driving social change.

The gala will host a live auction of over 15 exclusive art pieces, curated by Neel Shukla, founder of Four Seasons Ramesh Gallery. Notable artists featured include Domingo Zapata, Rocco Ritchie, Maryam Sharaf Alhashmi, Lorenzo Quinn, Lorenzo Agius, Paresh Maity, and New Zealand artist Andrew Wallace, who has cerebral palsy and has donated three of his works to the event. Additionally, an online silent auction, beginning November 1, 2024, will feature more than 30 pieces from renowned artists like Bradley Theodore, Riyad Gandhy, Badr Abbas, Tina Gavasheli, and Sawyer Franz, with select works displayed at the gala.

“Art be a Part has raised over AED 1 million for Dubai Cares and UNICEF India since 2021, and we hope to surpass this milestone in 2024. The SpArK initiative brings together art and philanthropy, fostering opportunities for underprivileged children with special needs in India,” said Medha Nanda. His Excellency Dr. Tariq Al Gurg, CEO and Vice-Chairman of Dubai Cares, highlighted the significance of this partnership, saying, “This gala is a testament to art’s power to promote inclusion and address the unique challenges faced by these children.” UNICEF India echoed this sentiment, with Rahul Bansal, Chief of Resource Mobilization & Partnerships, expressing gratitude for the support and the chance to “create brighter futures” for vulnerable children.

Ellington Properties’ CEO, Elie Naaman, noted the alignment between the company’s design philosophy and the gala’s mission, reinforcing the role of art in community and philanthropic initiatives.

This year’s event will bring together industrialists, art patrons, and philanthropists dedicated to meaningful social impact through art, supporting an inclusive, global educational future for all children.
