City Walk Unplugged Season 3 Launches Live Dance Battle Featuring UAE’s Top 30 Crews

Dubai, UAE – City Walk Unplugged returns for its third season, bringing together talented young dance groups from across the UAE. This year’s live competition kicks off on 22 November, featuring the country’s top dance crews ready to impress audiences and judges with their skills and creativity.
Following a wave of TikTok video applications, 30 dance groups have been selected to advance to the live rounds at City Walk. These groups will perform in front of an audience and an esteemed panel of judges, culminating in a grand finale near the Fountain Area in City Walk on 1 December, starting at 6pm.

Semifinals and Judging: From 22-24 November, the dance groups will compete in the semifinal rounds, showcasing their unique ‘fusion’ choreography and footwork. They will be judged on technique, stage presence, creativity, and technicality by industry experts including:
Brendon Hansford: Renowned choreographer and director celebrated for his innovative vision.
Rhea Harmoush: Passionate dance educator and choreographer.
Polina Komysova: Experienced choreographer and creative producer with a world title in ballroom dancing and former choreographer of Dancing with the Stars.
Guest Judge: Charles Makriss, founder of Makriss Dance Ministry, the first Street Dance School in Lebanon and the Arab World.

Hosts and Grand Finale: The semifinals will be hosted by Alana Wallace, a popular voice from The Morning Show on Luv 107.1, adding excitement to the festivities. Georgina Barnes, radio presenter, host, and dancer trained at Laine Theatre Arts in London, will host the finals.
The grand finale will spotlight the top 10 dance groups vying for the title, a cash prize of AED 25,000, exclusive career-elevating opportunities, and an exclusive video shoot at City Walk. Hosted by Virgin Radio’s Maz Hakim and Brent Black, the event will feature a special performance by 2DayDance, an internationally recognized dance group known for their high-energy and innovative choreography.
