HELI Aims for #1 Position in Middle East and Africa with New Forklift Models and Strategic Investments

Company Expands Regional Footprint, Hosts 40 Regional Partners at Exclusive Distributors' Conference in Dubai

Dubai, UAE – HELI, China’s leading forklift manufacturer, has introduced three new forklift models at the grand opening of its UAE distributor Hala’s showroom and workshop in Dubai Industrial City. This significant launch underscores HELI’s ongoing expansion in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, as it strives to become the leading forklift brand in the area.

HELI, founded in 1958, is driven by its mission “Lifting the Future” and aims to be ranked among the world’s top five forklift manufacturers. Known for delivering innovative and intelligent logistics solutions, HELI has established itself as a global leader in industrial vehicles and logistics systems. The company’s brand proposition, “Empower the World,” reflects its dedication to providing high-quality products and empowering industries worldwide.

Consistently ranked among the top ten forklift manufacturers globally since 2006, HELI’s growth has been fueled by streamlined strategies in capital, industrial, and innovation chains. At the event, HELI introduced the G Series 2.0-ton lithium battery forklift, specifically designed for the beverage industry. This model features advanced technology, such as adjustable cab height, an intelligent steering system, and an active safety protection system. The new G3 Series forklifts, available in 2-3.5 Ton and 5-10 Ton models, offer enhanced efficiency, safety, and performance, with energy-efficient designs and advanced safety features like pedestrian detection and AI-powered collision warnings.

Guan Lei, General Manager of HELI Middle East FZCO, highlighted HELI’s commitment to sustainable material handling solutions, aligning with global sustainability goals. Mathew Abraham, Managing Director of Hala, emphasized the potential of the partnership to offer comprehensive solutions and high standards of after-sales support.

HELI’s growth in the region is supported by its investment in infrastructure, with plans to lease substantial space to enhance service capabilities. At a recent distributors conference, HELI discussed product innovations and regional growth strategies, reflecting its vision for the future and strong partnerships with regional distributors.

HELI’s increasing presence in the UAE, now the second-largest forklift brand, and its success in Africa, where it holds the top position in 15 countries, demonstrate the company’s strength in meeting local market needs. Chen Xianyou, Vice General Manager of Anhui HELI Co., Ltd, emphasized the importance of sustainable growth and strong partnerships in achieving long-term success.
