News DeskAbu Dhabi, UAE – The Abu Dhabi Turf Club (ADTC) is set to host the highly anticipated 32nd edition of the UAE President Cup Purebred Arabian Grand Prix on 15 December 2024. This prestigious event is held under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and President of the ADTC.
As part of an international series, the Grand Prix aims to create an electrifying racing atmosphere for elite jockeys and Purebred Arabian horses from around the world. Competing for prestigious titles, participants will vie for a substantial prize pool totaling AED 10.8 million.
The event celebrates the UAE’s rich racing heritage and its legacy of Purebred Arabian horses. The highlight of the day will be the UAE President Cup Purebred Arabian Grand Prix (Group 1), featuring a prize pool of AED 8 million. This race will see top purebred Arabian horses competing over a 2200-meter distance, showcasing their speed, power, and agility. Additionally, the President Cup for Thoroughbreds offers a grand prize of AED 1 million, reinforcing the global significance of the competition.
This year’s edition boasts a notable increase in the prize pool by AED 5.2 million, bringing the total prize value to AED 10.8 million. This enhancement underscores the UAE’s dedication to the global development of the sport.
The reception with the barrier draw for the UAE President Cup Purebred Arabian Grand Prix is scheduled for 13 December, determining the starting positions of the horses, and adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
