UAE Stars Shine in DP World ILT20 Season 3 Player Selections

Dubai, UAE – The DP World International League T20 (ILT20) Season 3 player selection process for UAE cricketers was held today in Dubai, spotlighting the nation’s rising talents. Among the top selections were Ethan D’Souza, Aryan Lakra, and Dhruv Parashar, who secured spots in this prestigious T20 league.

UAE Player Highlights

Ethan D’Souza, a promising left-handed batter, will represent the Sharjah Warriorz. The teenager recently showcased his talent with a stellar 84-run knock against Pakistan U19 in the ongoing ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2024.
Aryan Lakra, a versatile player, joins MI Emirates, while Dhruv Parashar, known for his impactful bowling, will feature for the Desert Vipers. Parashar impressed with five wickets at the DP World ILT20 Development Tournament 2024.
The Abu Dhabi Knight Riders picked Shahid Iqbal Bhutta and Ibrar Ahmed, who both delivered standout performances at the Development Tournament, taking six wickets each.
Khuzaima Bin Tanveer and Farhan Khan, who excelled with the ball, earned spots in the Desert Vipers and Dubai Capitals respectively.
The Gulf Giants selected Muhammad Saghir Khan and Muhammad Uzair Khan, with the latter emerging as the leading wicket-taker in the Development Tournament with 16 scalps.

Veteran UAE star Rohan Mustafa also joins the Sharjah Warriorz, following a remarkable showing for the ILT20 Pearls, where he scored 149 runs.
