Sindhi Cultural Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm in Riyadh

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The Sindhi diaspora in Riyadh came together to celebrate Sindhi Cultural Day 2024 with great enthusiasm, showcasing their rich heritage and traditions. Organized by the Indus Cultural and Social Forum, the event drew a large and diverse audience, including families, and offered a blend of cultural pride, entertainment, and community spirit.

The celebration featured a vibrant program that included soulful musical performances by renowned artists Reshma Parveen and Naeem Sindhi. Their captivating renditions created a nostalgic atmosphere, bringing the audience closer to their cultural roots. Sajjad Suhag and Hafeez Shaikh added energy to the event with their engaging commentary and comparisons.

In addition to the music, the event offered an array of traditional Sindhi foods at affordable prices, further enhancing the cultural ambiance. Exciting giveaways, including airline ticket vouchers and three Umrah tickets, added an element of surprise and joy for attendees.

Ghulam Qadir Mallah, President of the Indus Cultural and Social Forum, presented shields to sponsors and distributed traditional Sindhi Ajraks as tokens of gratitude to the guests. In his speech, he expressed heartfelt thanks to the audience for their spirited participation and praised the forum’s team for their dedication. Anees Malik delivered the welcome address, while the closing note of thanks was presented by Zahid Mian Bhutto.
