Luka Dokic & Karen Frye win Titles of the 12th Dubai Fitness Championship

Dubai, UAE – The Slovakia’s Karen Frye has attained a historic achievement as she has won her third consecutive women’s title in Dubai Fitness Championship, while the Serbia’s Luka Dokic won the men’s title of the Championship, which was organized by Dubai Sports Council (DSC) under the sponsorship of the Insurance Market.ae., and with remarkable participation of elite of the world’s strongest male & female professionals in fitness field.

The competitions took place at several locations in Dubai from 6th to 8th Dec. 2024, and concluded at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium.

Winners in the 12th edition of the Championship were honored by Naser Aman Al-Rahma, the Assistant Secretary General of DSC / Ali Omar Al-Baloushi, Head of the Championship’s Organizing Committee / Saud Al-Shamsi, the Championship’s Manager / Grishma Apte, the Managing Director of Mai Alfred, Owner of Insurance Market.ae.

The Serbian Luka Dokic presented distinctive performance showing his strength & determination and has therefore won the men’s title for the first time in his history, followed by the British’s Toby Buckland who resides in Dubai and proudly represents the UAE. Toby exerted distinguished efforts during all stages of the Championship. The 3rd place was secured by the Polish Bronislaw Olenkiewicz, Who has confirmed his strong presence in the event.

In women’s category, the Slovakia’s Karen Frye attained excellence and won her 3rd successive title in Dubai Fitness Championship, emphasizing her prominent status as one of the best female players in the globe. The New Zealand’s Jamie Green showed amazing performance as one of the most eminent competitor and clinched 2nd place, while the Norwegian Mathilde Garnes secured 3rd place with strong performance.

UAE wins Gulf Fitness Competition’s Title 2024:
The United Arab Emirates A Team won the Gulf Fitness Competition’s Title, which was held simultaneously with Dubai Fitness Championship, and witnessed enthusiastic & competitive atmospheres among Gulf Teams. The Kuwait A Team gained 2nd place, while the United Arab Emirates B Team came 3rd. The Gulf Competition was organized with participation of 6 Gulf teams; two teams from each of the UAE, Kuwait & Bahrain. Each team consists of four of the best athletes in the region.

The event was organized with participation of by 108 athletes of 24 countries from all continents of the globe, among them were champions from Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Russia, USA, Canada, Morocco and all over Europe. 60 professional athletes of both genders, comprising 30 males & 30 females, competed in the Championship to win valuable prizes of more than Dhs 1.6 Million, while the Gulf Fitness Competition was joined by 48 athletes from 6 Gulf countries.

The first day of the competitions was held at Aura Sky View, overlooking the Palm Jumeirah, and then the contestants moved to compete in the running challenge at the Quranic Park at Al-Khawaneej. On the second day, the obstacle challenge took place at Dubai Design District and then the finals was held at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium at Al-Garhoud.
