Dubai, UAE – DP World ILT20 Season 3 will launch with a spectacular opening ceremony at the Dubai International Stadium on Saturday, 11 January 2025. Bollywood superstars Shahid Kapoor, Pooja Hegde, and Sonam Bajwa will headline the event, captivating the audience with their epic performances starting at 6:00 pm local time. Gates will open at 4:00 pm, and fans worldwide can tune in via the Zee Network and its syndication partners on both linear and digital platforms.
The ceremony will feature Shahid, Pooja, and Sonam performing their blockbuster hits, followed by a dazzling fireworks display. The excitement will continue as the defending champions MI Emirates face off against Dubai Capitals in a rematch of last year’s grand finale at 7:15 pm local time. Renowned Bollywood producer and actor Jackky Bhagnani and Ridhima Pathak will emcee the opening ceremony.

The DP World ILT20 Season 3 will run from 11 January to 9 February 2025. The six franchises have retained T20 superstars such as Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Alex Hales, Sherfane Rutherford, David Warner, Rovman Powell, Chris Jordan, Shimron Hetmyer, Akeal Hossein, Nicholas Pooran, Adil Rashid, and Johnson Charles.
England’s white-ball great Jason Roy returns to the league with the Sharjah Warriorz after playing for the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders last season. Former West Indies captain Jason Holder joins the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, having played for the Dubai Capitals last season.
New talents making their DP World ILT20 debuts include Tim Southee, Fakhar Zaman, Shai Hope, Lockie Ferguson, Roston Chase, Matthew Wade, Ibrahim Zadran, and Romario Shepherd in Season 3.
