News DeskDubai, UAE – Adani Sportsline’s Gulf Giants have announced their first-ever collaboration with two prominent cricket training centers in Dubai: Swantons Cricket Academy and Smashing Point Sports Academy (SPSA)-Raise Your Game. This partnership marks Adani Sportsline’s debut in working with Middle Eastern cricket academies.
The collaboration aims to bolster the Gulf Giants’ presence in the region by engaging with academy-trained players, their families, coaches, and other cricket enthusiasts. It will feature exclusive branding, fan engagement activities, player visits, and opportunities for promising athletes to join Gulf Giants’ practice sessions as net players.
During the ongoing ILT20 Season 3, Gulf Giants players visited the academies and interacted with children. English wicketkeeper-batter Ollie Robinson and batting coach Grant Flower visited SPSA, while Namibian allrounder Gerhard Erasmus and coach Ottis Gibson spent time at Swantons Cricket Academy.
Adani Sportsline is set to organize a tournament named “Little Giants,” involving several schools across the UAE. Chief Business Officer Sanjay Adesara highlighted the partnership’s importance, stating, “The partnership with the academies is a pivotal step towards unlocking the true potential of talent in the UAE. The ‘Little Giants’ tournament is another initiative that will help us create pathways for young cricketers. We wish to reinforce our mission of making cricket an inclusive and thriving sport across communities, while continuing to expand our global footprint.”
Zameer Sulaiman, Senior Manager of Swantons Cricket Academy, expressed delight in the partnership, saying, “Their expertise will be invaluable for our ambitions to give young players a platform to hone their skills, grow in their careers, and achieve their full potential.”
