Karachi, Sindh – The Sindh Livestock Expo’s second day welcomed esteemed ministers and delegates, highlighting the Expo’s significant role in fostering collaboration and showcasing livestock achievements.
Prominent Attendees and Warm Reception
The event was graced by Punjab Livestock Minister Ashiq Ali Kirmani, Azad Kashmir Livestock Minister Sardar Mir Akbar Khan, Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah, and a special delegation from the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). Sindh Livestock Minister Muhammad Ali Malkani, Secretary Dr. Kazim Hussain Jatoi, and DG Dr. Nazir Hussain Kalhoro warmly received the guests.
Remarkable Livestock Developments
Minister Ashiq Ali Kirmani toured various halls of the Expo, expressing his admiration for the quality and quantity of vaccines prepared by the Sindh Livestock Department. He praised the department’s efforts after observing the livestock, including local breeds of buffaloes, goats, and sheep. Kirmani emphasized the potential for inter-provincial cooperation, stating that the Punjab government is ready to collaborate in the livestock and fisheries sectors.
Expressions of Appreciation
Azad Kashmir Minister for Livestock Sardar Mir Akbar Khan also expressed his happiness upon seeing the livestock on display, adding to the day’s celebratory atmosphere. Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah, a farmer himself, participated in the livestock parade and showcased animals from his own farm at 20 stalls.

SIFC’s Involvement
A special delegation from the SIFC, including Chairman Major General (Retd) Shahid Mahmood and Brigadier (Retd) Ehtisham Younis, participated in the Expo, underscoring the importance of investment in the livestock sector.
Evening Celebrations
The day concluded with an animal parade that captivated the audience, followed by sports competitions organized by the Sports Department, including archery, tug-of-war, and mulkhalakhro. The Culture Department hosted a vibrant party that lasted late into the night, celebrating the Expo’s success and community spirit.
