Sportswear giant Oysho has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative to bolster its presence in professional padel, launching the “Oysho Team 2025” – a star-studded international women’s squad aimed at elevating the sport and empowering female athletes worldwide. The move underscores the brand’s commitment to fostering talent, promoting gender equity, and connecting women across borders through the rapidly growing sport.

Star-Studded Lineup: A Blend of Legends and Rising Stars
The Oysho Team 2025 features nine elite athletes from six nations, headlined by Spanish icon Alejandra Salazar (FIP ranking 15), hailed as the greatest player in padel history with six world titles and over 15 years in the top three. Joining her are Portugal’s trailblazer Sofia Araújo (FIP 8), the first Portuguese woman to win a world circuit event, and Alix Collombon (FIP 30), France’s top-ranked player.

Spain dominates the roster with prodigies like Alejandra Alonso (FIP 16), an 18-year-old European champion, and Carmen Goenaga (FIP 24), a 20-year-old world youth titleholder. The team also includes Italy’s 2023 national champion Carlotta Casali (FIP 73), Mexico’s Pan American silver medalist Ana María Cabrejas (FIP 119), and emerging talents such as Germany’s Milla Blaschke and Spain’s Marta Eugenio.

Coaching Excellence
Veteran coach Marcela Ferrari, renowned for mentoring top players and currently guiding Italy’s national teams, will helm the squad. Her expertise is expected to sharpen the team’s competitive edge as they target dominance in premier tournaments.

Premier Padel Partnerships
Oysho has solidified its professional circuit ties by sponsoring two marquee 2025 events: the Dubai Premier Padel P1 (November 10–16), a season-ending showdown, and the Oysho Valladolid Premier Padel P2 (June 23–29), held in the iconic Plaza Mayor. These tournaments will spotlight the world’s best female players, furthering Oysho’s mission to amplify women’s padel.

Grassroots Growth: Amateur Circuits and Digital Expansion
Beyond the pros, Oysho is investing in grassroots development through title sponsorships of Woman Padel Oysho (Spain’s largest amateur circuit) and Mexico’s Oysho Circuito Femenil by Mack, collectively hosting 17 rounds across 14 cities.

Digitally, Oysho has partnered with Playtomic, the top padel app, to connect over one million players in 50 countries. The collaboration enhances court bookings in Spain, Italy, and Mexico, aligning with the brand’s tech-driven outreach.

Global Club Network
The brand has also secured sponsorships with premier clubs in Mexico City (Club Contrapared), Paris (Club Casa Padel), Barcelona (Vallparc Tennis Club), and Marbella (NAC), cementing its footprint in key padel hubs.

A Vision for the Future
“By uniting legendary athletes, rising stars, and grassroots initiatives, Oysho is redefining women’s padel on a global scale,” the company stated. This holistic strategy not only elevates the sport but positions Oysho as a catalyst for female empowerment in athletics.

As padel’s popularity surges worldwide, Oysho’s 2025 campaign signals a bold step toward gender parity and international camaraderie, setting a new benchmark for corporate stewardship in sports.
