Mumbai: With a vision to inspire change and drive actionable impact, the India Masters—featuring India’s most celebrated cricketing legends in the inaugural International Masters League (IML) T20—have joined hands with the British Asian Trust, an organisation founded by Prince Charles that has been at the forefront of reducing poverty and uplifting disadvantaged communities across South Asia. As the Official Cause Partner, this collaboration aims to create meaningful, lasting change, using the power of cricket to transform lives and make a real difference in the region.

The India Masters, featuring one of the game’s greatest legends, Sachin Tendulkar, will be led by him and feature iconic cricketing figures such as Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan, Yousuf Pathan, Ambati Rayudu, Stuart Binny, among others. They will don the logo of the British Asian Trust, creating awareness about the cause and inspiring millions of cricket fans every time they take to the field during the IML T20 2025 league.

“The India Masters Team was built on the idea of celebrating cricket’s legacy while giving back to the community. Our partnership with the British Asian Trust aligns perfectly with this vision, using the love for the game to drive real impact. We are proud to play a role in raising awareness and support for such an important cause and look forward to making a tangible difference together,” said Salman Ahmed and Kartikey Mishra, Team Owners of the India Masters.

Founded 18 years ago with a historic match between cricketing rivals India and Pakistan in Scotland, the British Asian Trust comes full circle as it renews its partnership with cricket through the India Masters. Back then, Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh were key players for Team India, and today, they once again take the field—this time donning the India Masters jersey—continuing their legacy while supporting a cause that drives consequential change across the region.

As part of this partnership, India Masters will also focus on raising funds and supporting the British Asian Trust in working in critical areas of education, livelihoods, child protection, mental health, and environment conservation.

Hitan Mehta, Executive Director of the British Asian Trust, added: “The British Asian Trust is excited and honoured to be selected as the India Masters Team charity partner. We have been supporting people in India for the past 18 years and this partnership with the ‘Masters’ of Indian cricket is truly a great recognition of our efforts. We have hope that we will be able to do even more with these heroes of cricket.”

The British Asian Trust, a prominent diaspora-led international development organisation, advocates for social finance initiatives to foster sustainable change in South Asia. By collaborating with the India Masters, the partnership seeks to harness cricket’s unifying impact to engage communities and encourage action.

India Masters continue to assert their dominance in the International Masters League T20 2025, securing back-to-back victories. Following a thrilling four-run win over Sri Lanka Masters, the team triumphed over England Masters, delivering yet another display of cricketing excellence. With two wins in two games, India Masters are truly playing like champions as they look to build on their momentum and make a strong statement in the tournament.
