The tournament, held annually during Ramadan under the slogan ‘Limitless Capabilities’, promises to be bigger and better this year, featuring a diverse range of sports and international participation.
The Nad Al Sheba Padel Championship, one of the highlights of the tournament, commenced today (Monday) at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex. Teams from the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iran, Australia, the Netherlands, and Saudi Arabia are competing in the championship. The group stage matches will run until Wednesday, with the semi-finals scheduled for Thursday and the final on Friday, March 7.

This follows the conclusion of the International Padel Federation (FIP) Gold Championship on Sunday, which saw intense competition among international players in both men’s and women’s categories. The padel action will continue with the Nad Al Sheba Open Doubles Championship on March 8, featuring the top 32 doubles pairings. The event will run until March 12, followed by the FIP Junior Championship from March 13 to 16 and a local padel competition from March 16 to 20.
Fencing Championship Draws Elite International Talent
The fencing championship also saw fierce competition on Sunday evening, with elite fencers from around the world showcasing their skills. The event includes two categories: an international championship for men’s epee and a separate competition for UAE-based fencers. Participants from 13 nations, including Italy, France, the USA, Russia, and Saudi Arabia, are vying for top honors. Additionally, a special local girls’ championship is being held, featuring UAE nationals and residents.
