Barcelona, Spain – At MWC Barcelona 2025, global technology leader HONOR took center stage, advocating for open collaboration to address the challenges and opportunities of AI advancement. During two pivotal discussions—the Connect X Fireside Chat and the AI+ panel—the company outlined its ambitious HONOR ALPHA PLAN, a strategy emphasizing cross-industry partnerships to build intelligent ecosystems that “maximize human potential” in an era of physical AI.

Breaking Boundaries with the ALPHA PLAN
CEO James Li announced the ALPHA PLAN during a keynote, stressing the need to dissolve industry silos. “To unlock the physical AI era, we must open our capabilities, unify standards, and create value-sharing ecosystems,” Li stated. The plan aims to integrate AI across devices, operating systems, and industries, enabling seamless interactions—from smartphones syncing with smart homes to wearables delivering personalized health insights.

Intelligent Ecosystems: Beyond Basic Connectivity
HONOR’s vision focuses on ecosystems that anticipate user needs, moving beyond raw connectivity. Examples include its AI agent, all-ecosystem exchange technology, and AiMAGE, showcased at MWC. These innovations highlight HONOR’s human-centric design philosophy, blending on-device AI processing with cloud resources while prioritizing privacy.

Privacy at the Core
The company reinforced its commitment to data security, referencing its newly published Privacy Protection White Paper. Five principles guide its approach: minimizing data collection, on-device protection for sensitive data, local processing as default, encrypted cloud uploads, and post-use deletion. This framework ensures user trust as AI adoption grows.

Collaboration as the Catalyst
HONOR urged industry leaders to unite in setting interoperability standards, particularly for AI connectivity. “A united effort is critical as we navigate the complexities of this technological shift,” Li emphasized. Partnerships with key players aim to accelerate innovation while avoiding fragmentation in the evolving landscape.
