Sharjah, UAE – The Pakistan Social Center (PSC) Sharjah launched its annual Ramadan relief initiative, distributing free ration packages to over 250 registered deserving families during the holy month. The drive, led by PSC President Chaudhry Khalid Hussain, aims to ease the financial burden on low-income communities in Sharjah and Ajman.

Speaking at the distribution event, Chaudhry Khalid Hussain emphasized the center’s commitment to supporting vulnerable families. “Our goal is to ensure no one is left behind during Ramadan. Over 250 families are already registered, and we are reviewing additional applications to extend aid further,” he stated. The initiative, driven by the spirit of community service and “pleasing Allah,” will continue throughout Ramadan, with packages allocated to newly approved beneficiaries.
Each Ramadan package contains essential food and household items to help recipients observe the month with dignity. Hussain urged the public to “include others in your happiness” by assisting those in need.

The PSC Sharjah’s efforts highlight the Pakistani community’s solidarity in the UAE, reinforcing values of charity and compassion central to Ramadan.
