Dubai, UAE – This Ramadan, Dubai-based Warrior Academy, the UAE’s largest martial arts organization, is channeling the spirit of giving by transforming lives worldwide. For every new membership, the Academy pledges to support two vulnerable children living in extreme poverty across developing nations, fostering a generation of future leaders through martial arts and character development.
To date, nearly 4,000 children in orphanages, slums, rural schools, and homeless shelters—from India and Nepal to Brazil—have benefited from the Academy’s global scholarship program. The initiative centers on the “Warrior Method,” a curriculum emphasizing Confidence, Conduct, and Concentration (the three C’s), delivered through Taekwondo. This ancient martial art serves as a vehicle for instilling self-discipline, resilience, and community spirit, equipping children with tools to navigate adversity.

Aligned with Ramadan’s core values of compassion and solidarity, the program reflects the UAE’s broader vision of social impact. Founder Sebastian Bates, a former trainer and character advisor to royal families in the UAE and Jordan, emphasized the initiative’s mission: “We aim to give every child a ‘Black Belt Character’—traits that pave the way for a fulfilling adulthood.”
With over 2,000 students enrolled across branches in Al Quoz, Arjan (Dubai), and Al Wahda Mall (Abu Dhabi), the Academy plans further expansion in 2025. Bates highlighted the ethos driving the project: “Small businesses can shape communities. By involving youth in Ramadan efforts, we’re teaching tomorrow’s leaders to prioritize service alongside success.”

The Warrior Academy’s Ramadan campaign underscores a dual commitment: nurturing local talent while extending empathy globally, proving that martial arts transcend physical prowess to build character and hope.
