Dubai, UAE – India’s Royal Rapchee Entertainment unveiled its cutting-edge Over-The-Top (OTT) streaming service, “Royal Rapchee,” on Monday, marking its official entry into the competitive digital entertainment space. The Dubai-registered entity, Royal Rapchee Visual Recorded Media Distribution LLC, launched the platform with an initial focus on the UAE and India, followed by phased expansions across Asia and the Middle East.

Affordable Plans and AI-Powered Features
The platform offers three subscription tiers:

  • Silver Plan: AED 5/month (basic access)
  • Gold Plan: AED 15/month (HD streaming + two simultaneous screens)
  • Platinum Plan: AED 45/month (4K streaming, four screens, and offline downloads)

Subscribers will gain access to a vast library of movies, dramas, documentaries, and original series, complemented by AI-driven personalized recommendations and high-speed streaming capabilities.

Global Ambitions and Investment Backing
Royal Rapchee plans to extend its reach to Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka by late 2025, followed by Gulf markets like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait. The project is backed by a AED 50 million investment from UAE-based Royal Cut Investment, whose Chairman, H.E. Humaid Mohamed Ali Rashed Alkalbani, was acknowledged for his pivotal support.

Empowering New Talent, Prioritizing Cultural Values
At the launch event, Founder and Managing Director Dharam Gupta emphasized the platform’s dual mission: “Royal Rapchee isn’t just about entertainment; it’s a gateway for young talent to showcase their creativity globally. We aim to deliver world-class content that respects cultural values and remains accessible to all.

The service will focus exclusively on family-friendly programming, avoiding sensitive themes. Additionally, the company announced plans to release 100 original songs by December 2025, providing a platform for emerging artists.

Strategic Positioning
With its Dubai headquarters and established Indian subsidiary (Rapchee Originals Media Pvt Ltd), Royal Rapchee bridges South Asian and Middle Eastern markets. Its emphasis on localized, ethical content positions it to compete with global giants while catering to regional preferences.

As streaming demand surges across Asia, Royal Rapchee’s blend of affordability, technology, and cultural sensitivity could redefine digital entertainment in the region.
