Dubai: Marking International Happiness Day, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) unveiled two impactful initiatives aimed at boosting workplace morale and community engagement, aligning with Dubai’s vision to become the world’s happiest city.

In a heartfelt gesture, GDRFA Dubai recognized 303 members of its labor workforce for their unwavering commitment, hosting a celebratory event replete with financial rewards, team-building activities, and lively competitions at its headquarters. The initiative, part of the Year of the Community Initiatives, emphasized fostering gratitude and camaraderie among employees, while enhancing their quality of life.

Simultaneously, the Directorate launched the digital campaign “Our Happiness Comes from Yours” across social media platforms. Residents were invited to share personal stories of joy in under 100 words for a chance to win prizes, amplifying the message that “happiness grows when shared.” The initiative underscores GDRFA Dubai’s role in driving social connectivity and positivity through innovative digital outreach.
