Sharjah, UAE – President of Sharjah Social Center, Khalid Hussain Chaudhry hosted iftar dinner here on Friday. The event was attended by Pakistani expatriate in large number including Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Consul General of Pakistan, Hussain Muhammad, Visa Consul Nabil Rashid, Press Consul Muhammad Saleh, Welfare Consul Junaid Murtaza, Imran Shahid and Pakistan Business Council Dubai Chairman Shabbir Merchant. Khalid Hussain Chaudhry warmly welcomed all the guests.

In his address, Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi highlighted the significance of Ramadan as a time of devotion, self-purification, and empathy for those in need. He emphasized, “Allah Almighty has made fasting obligatory for all Muslims, with the purpose of instilling piety and righteousness in our hearts. Ramadan is a month of blessings, and we should all strive to seek closeness to Allah.”
A special cake-cutting ceremony was also held to commemorate Pakistan’s Resolution Day.

Dr. Akram Shahzad led a special prayer, seeking divine blessings for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of the Pakistani community worldwide.

As the event concluded, Khalid Hussain Chaudhry expressed sincere thanks to all the guests for their participation, underscoring the importance of such gatherings in fostering unity and strengthening communal ties during the holy month.
