News DeskDubai: Spartan Race Middle East announced The Arena, Bab Al Shams as the host venue for its next event, ‘Dawn ‘til Dusk’, set to take place in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council on Saturday, 19th April 2025. The announcement follows the success of its inaugural Trifecta weekend at Dubai Parks and Resorts earlier this year.
The highly anticipated event will feature two race formats – the 5km Sprint and the 10km Super – alongside 1km, 1.5km and 3km children’s races, ensuring an inclusive event for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Racers will navigate a series of adrenaline-pumping obstacles, setting off from a dramatic Colosseum-inspired arena before pushing their limits in the surrounding desert terrain. The unique format will see competitors set off in waves, beginning at Dawn and culminating at Dusk.
Building on the momentum of its first event, which welcomed over 4,000 competitors and over 2,000 spectators, Spartan Race Middle East aims to take ‘Dawn ‘til’ Dusk to new heights. Beyond the race itself, attendees can expect a full-day experience featuring entertainment, recovery zones and a wide selection of food and beverage options from leading regional brands.
With Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) recently being incorporated into the Modern Pentathlon for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, the sport is gaining global recognition. As a leader in the OCR movement, Spartan has played a pivotal role in popularising the discipline through its world-class events, inspiring thousands of participants, from elite athletes to fun-runners, team participants and newcomers to challenge their limits and change their lives
The inaugural Spartan Race Middle East event attracted sponsorship from major brands and featured activations at key regional sporting events, setting the stage for even greater collaborations in 2025.
