Dubai, UAE – Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, visited the Ramadan Iftar tent organized by Pakistani firm Vista Maritime Travel and Tourism at Port Rashid on Thursday, lauding the initiative as a testament to communal solidarity and generosity during the holy month.
Operational since the start of Ramadan, the tent provides free daily Iftar meals to over 300 individuals, including laborers, families, and visitors. The Consul General, accompanied by Community Welfare Attachés and consulate officers, engaged with attendees, distributed food boxes, and participated in collective prayers (dua) after the meal.

In his remarks, Hussain Muhammad praised Vista Maritime for its “noble effort in serving the community,” emphasizing that such initiatives strengthen bonds of empathy and togetherness. “This initiative reflects the true spirit of Ramadan—sharing blessings and uplifting one another,” he stated.
The Consul General also extended gratitude to the Dubai Government for its logistical and administrative support in facilitating the Iftar tent, highlighting the significance of public-private partnerships in advancing community welfare.
Vista Maritime’s initiative has drawn widespread appreciation, underscoring Dubai’s role as a hub for multicultural harmony and charitable endeavors during the Islamic holy month.
