Dubai: With just three weeks remaining until Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025, the event is on track to attract a record number of high-value visitors, with registrations surging by 104% compared to the same period last year. This remarkable growth reaffirms ATM’s position as a crucial global platform for travel trade professionals.
International markets account for 52% of total visitor registrations, underscoring ATM’s global appeal and its role in fostering cross-cultural collaborations. Meanwhile, visitors from the UAE and GCC region contribute significantly, making up 48% of the total registrations.
Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME, Arabian Travel Market, highlighted the importance of increased international participation: “Stronger global attendance enhances ATM’s profile, boosts the local economy, and drives revenue in key sectors such as hospitality, retail, and travel.”

Surge in International Participation
This year’s ATM is witnessing increased participation from key global markets. The top five registered countries include the UAE, India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UK. India’s thriving outbound travel sector continues to drive demand, while Egypt’s tourism revenues soared to US$15.3 billion in 2024, reflecting over 100% growth in the past decade. Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiatives have cemented the Kingdom’s position as a major player in global tourism, and the UK remains a crucial hub for both business and leisure travel.
ATM 2024 saw significant visitor growth from Africa (+51%), Asia Pacific (+53%), Europe (+40%), and the Middle East (+26%). Regional participation from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait also saw a notable surge, with increases of 48%, 40%, 39%, 28%, and 37%, respectively. ATM 2025 is expected to maintain this upward trend, further enhancing its status as a premier international travel event.
