Dubai: Dubai Basketball has announced a four-year partnership with award-winning sportswear brand adidas, making the global giant the club’s official kit sponsor until the 2027/28 season. As part of the deal, adidas will outfit the entire team and staff of Dubai Basketball, Dubai’s first-ever sports franchise, marking a major milestone in the club’s debut season.
The partnership built on the shared vision of achieving new heights, Dubai Basketball and adidas are embarking on creating four years of historical moments on the back of an intense yet thrilling first season of competition. Together, the two brands are committed to fostering basketball locally and internationally, amplifying the club’s ambitious drive to elevate the sport and its global presence.
Founded in 2023, Dubai Basketball has made history by becoming the first team from the Middle East to compete in one of Europe’s most intense competitions, the ABA League. The team’s impressive performance in their debut season is also set to result in qualification for the EuroLeague, the second most prestigious basketball league in the world after the NBA.

Having played their first-ever game on 22nd September 2024 at Coca-Cola Arena, the club has maintained an incredible streak of back-to-back victories in their inaugural season Currently sitting in 4th place in the ABA League with an impressive 19-5 record, Dubai Basketball have already added monumental wins to their roster including two of Europe’s biggest teams, Partizan Belgrade and Red Star.
