Abu Dhabi, UAE – The art world and celebrity spheres collided on Thursday evening at the highly anticipated grand opening of teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi. The innovative multi-sensory art experience welcomed a host of international stars to its inaugural ceremony, adding a touch of Hollywood glamour to the already breathtaking experience.
The sleek black carpet buzzed with excitement as renowned figures from film, music, and the arts arrived to witness the unveiling of the latest groundbreaking cultural landmark to join the stellar line up at Saadiyat Cultural District. Among the notable attendees were Academy Award-winning actress Cate Blanchet, Marvel actor and Golden Globe winner, Andrew Garfield, American rapper and record producer, American-Canadian actor, Brendan Fraser, Swizz Beatz, French actress and Marvel star, Pom Klementieff, Stranger Things actress, Natalia Dyer as well as British Grammy-nominated musician, filmmaker, composer and actor Flying Lotus.

Complementary to teamLab Phenomena’s unique architecture, guests were mesmerised by a theatrical record-breaking display of 6,300 synchronised drones and pyrotechnics alongside an original score composed by classical music titan and renowned Italian pianist and composer, Ludovico Einaudi. The performance marked the largest drone show ever staged in the GCC, transforming the Abu Dhabi night sky into a breathtaking canvas of light and sound.
