Abu Dhabi, UAE – Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives of Pakistan, Prof. Ahsan Iqbal, recently visited the Department of Government Enablement (DGE) in Abu Dhabi, where he engaged in high-level discussions with Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of DGE. The meeting focused on leveraging Abu Dhabi’s successes in artificial intelligence and digital technologies to enhance governance and public service delivery.
During the visit, Prof. Iqbal praised the UAE’s leadership in digital transformation, highlighting the innovative platforms developed by DGE, such as TAMM. He expressed Pakistan’s keen interest in fostering collaboration to advance public sector reforms under the Ministry of Planning’s “Uraan Pakistan” initiative, which aims to create a more efficient and citizen-centric governance model.

Both parties agreed to explore strategic partnerships in digital governance, capacity-building, and AI-driven public services. This engagement underscores the shared commitment of Pakistan and the UAE to strengthening institutional linkages and promoting technological innovation in public sector development.

The collaboration is expected to pave the way for knowledge exchange and advancements in governance models, benefiting both nations in their pursuit of modernized and efficient public services.
