PIA Launches Direct Flights from Dubai to Skardu

Dubai, UAE – Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has successfully re-launched its direct flight service between Dubai (DXB) and Skardu (KDU), marking a significant milestone in promoting tourism to Pakistan’s scenic northern regions.

To commemorate the occasion, a cake-cutting ceremony was held at the PIA office in Dubai. The event was graced by the presence of Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai. Also in attendance were members of a foreign tourist group flying on the inaugural flight, reflecting the growing international interest in Pakistan’s picturesque Gilgit-Baltistan region.

PIA Regional Manager Sarmad Aizaz and his team hosted the event, expressing optimism that the direct connection will not only facilitate easier travel for tourists and expatriates but also strengthen cultural and people-to-people ties between the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan.
