Dubai, UAE – Dubai International Airport witnessed the launch of the “Ideal Face” booth, an initiative by the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, held under the theme “This is the Dubai We Want.” The initiative aims to promote positive behavior and reinforce a culture of respectful and civil interactions within the community by spotlighting and encouraging committed individuals. It reflects Dubai’s image as a leading example of social and humanitarian values.
Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, accompanied by Majed Al Joker, Chief Operating Officer at Dubai Airports, Major General Obaid Muhair Bin Suroor, Deputy Director General of the Directorate, a number of senior officials from GDRFA Dubai, and Essa Al Shamsi, Senior Vice President – Passenger Terminal Operations at Dubai Airports, visited the initiative’s platform. They were briefed on the interactive activities it offers across its various sections and the community engagement it has successfully achieved.

The “Ideal Face 2” booth welcomes visitors daily from July 1 to July 13, 2025, at its location in the Departures Terminal 3 of Dubai Airport. The interactive experience allows the public to explore the initiative’s goals, take part in its activities, which include documenting real-life stories of individuals who embodied human values through their actions, and make a pledge to uphold Dubai’s code of positive conduct, thereby spreading a culture of mutual respect.

The platform drew notable engagement from visitors through creative and engaging educational activities, supported by the hosting team who welcomed guests, answered their questions, and facilitated live interaction. Committed individuals received a symbolic thank-you card bearing the message: “The Ideal Face – This is the Dubai We Want.”
Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri affirmed that the platform is a practical embodiment of the UAE’s vision to instill positive societal values. It builds an on-the-ground interactive experience that honors and celebrates positive conduct, reflecting Dubai’s role as a global model for human-centered interactions.
