Dubai, UAE – Cricket fans across the region are in for a treat as the United Arab Emirates gets ready to host a high-voltage T20I Tri-Series featuring Pakistan, Afghanistan, and UAE at the iconic Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The action-packed tournament is set to begin on Friday, 29 August, and will serve as a key build-up to the ACC Asia Cup 2025, scheduled to kick off in the UAE on 9 September.

The Tri-Series will feature seven evening matches, with each team facing the others twice in the group stage. The top two teams will clash in the grand final on Sunday, 7 September, promising a thrilling climax under the Sharjah lights.

The tournament opener will see Afghanistan taking on Pakistan on 29 August (Friday), followed by UAE facing Pakistan on 30 August (Saturday). The fixtures continue with Afghanistan vs UAE on 1 September (Monday) and a second meeting between Afghanistan and Pakistan on 2 September (Tuesday).

Fans can expect further excitement when Pakistan and UAE meet again on 4 September (Thursday), with the final group-stage game featuring Afghanistan and UAE on 5 September (Friday).

All matches are scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM local time.

This Tri-Series not only adds momentum to the region’s cricketing calendar but also provides a crucial opportunity for all three participating teams to fine-tune their squads ahead of the prestigious Asia Cup.

Match tickets and official broadcast details are expected to be released in the coming days, with high attendance anticipated given the popularity of all three teams in the UAE.
