Dubai, UAE – Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2025 today announced its final retail season, a citywide “Back to School” campaign designed to provide families and students with significant savings on school essentials. Running from August 11 to August 31, the campaign features discounts of up to 75% on a wide range of products, including uniforms, stationery, tech, and more.
Organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the Back to School season offers a variety of promotions and prize draws. Highlights include:
- Modesh Scholarships: Shoppers who spend AED 200 or more at participating malls like Dubai Festival Plaza and Al Ghurair Centre have a chance to win a share of AED 200,000 in scholarships. Draws will be held on August 16 and September 1.
- Back to School – Spend & Win AED 25,000: At Dubai Festival City Mall, a spend of AED 500 or more at select stores qualifies customers for a chance to win AED 25,000 towards school fees. The winner will be announced on September 3.
- LuLu School Savers: Until September 7, customers spending AED 100 on school supplies at LuLu Hypermarkets and Express stores can win a AED 10,000 scholarship and other instant prizes.
- E City and Emax Offers: Tech enthusiasts can take advantage of deals on laptops and electronics. E City offers include free gifts, buy-one-get-one-free deals, and trade-in value of up to AED 1,000. Emax provides up to 30% off on electronics, along with premium bundles and discounts for students and ADCB Shukran cardholders.

This campaign marks the third and final retail window of DSS 2025, following successful Summer Holiday Offers and the Great Dubai Summer Sale. Families and students are encouraged to take advantage of these promotions to prepare for the new academic year.
