Dubai, UAE – Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2025 is set to conclude its entertainment season with a spectacular lineup of star-studded concerts and side-splitting comedy shows. Running until August 31, the final weeks of the festival will feature international icons, regional chart-toppers, and comedy heavyweights at leading venues across the city. Tickets for these highly anticipated events are now on sale.
Organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the DSS 2025 finale promises a diverse range of entertainment for music fans, theatre-goers, and comedy lovers alike.
FESTIVAL FAVOURITES
The DSS-debut edition of Gahwa Beats will host its free-to-enter finale on August 23 at Deep Dive Dubai. Featuring DJ Swanahh, the event offers a unique blend of coffee culture and underwater adventure. Attendees can register on the Deep Dive Dubai website for free entry.
POWERHOUSE VOCALS
Dubai Opera will welcome Natalie Imbruglia for a one-night-only concert on August 23. The same evening, Zabeel Theatre at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray will host “Tango & Keys,” a one-night show of South American dance and music.
On August 29, Grammy-winning artist Macy Gray will perform her global hits at the Coca-Cola Arena. Meanwhile, Dubai Opera will debut “Red Carpet” on August 29 and 30, an Arabic stage production where audiences can vote for their favorite performers.
The Sheikh Rashid Hall, Dubai World Trade Centre, will host “Summer Nights: Ramy Sabry and Maha Ftouni Live” on August 30. That same day, a historic celebration of soulful music will take place at the Coca-Cola Arena as Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan shares the stage with his son, Shazman Ali Khan, in “Legacy of the Khans.” Also on August 30, Pakistani rap duo Young Stunners will perform at The Agenda, Dubai Media City.
COMEDY HEAVYWEIGHTS
The Laughter Factory will conclude its monthly showcase with performances by Dimitri Bakanov, Ash Rose, and Noha Bashir on August 22 at Radisson Hotel DAMAC Hills and on August 23 at Dukes, The Palm.
The finale of DSS 2025 will be marked by an unfiltered night of quick-fire comedy at Zabeel Theatre on August 31, featuring Arabic comedians Saleh El Nawawy and Jantee Shaaban.
EMERGING INDIAN COMEDIANS
DSS will also spotlight emerging Indian comedians. “Ladies Aadmi ft. Vivek Samatani Live” brings sharp observational humor to The Junction on August 24. Amit Tandon will perform his crowd-favorite sets at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Indian High School, on August 29. On August 30, Gaurav Gupta will deliver two back-to-back sets of his signature Hindi storytelling at the Dubai College Auditorium.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE LITTLE ONES
Families can enjoy a month-long run of live theatre at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Shows include “Alice in Wonderland” (August 21 and 23), “Treasure Island” (August 22 and 24), “The Little Mermaid” (August 26 and 28), and the “Aladdin” pantomime (August 27). From August 29 to 31, “The Mansour Show” will bring the beloved animated hero to life on stage, with performances at 11 am (English) and 3 pm (Arabic).
A GRAND FINALE
The legendary ghazal maestro Ustad Ghulam Ali will give a farewell performance at Dubai Opera on August 31, joined by his son Aamir Ghulam Ali and grandson Nazir Ghulam Ali in “Hearts in Harmony.”
With a diverse program of global music icons, regional superstars, family theatre, and world-class comedy, DSS 2025 is set to conclude on a high note, promising a spectacular summer finale for all.
