Dubai: The internationally acclaimed Slava’s Snowshow is set to return to Dubai this October after a near sell-out run at Dubai Opera in 2023. The award-winning theatrical spectacle will play a strictly limited season at the newly launched New Covent Garden Theatre at Mall of the Emirates from October 14 to 26, 2025.
The production, created by renowned Russian performance artist Slava Polunin, has toured more than 80 countries, captivated over 12 million people, and earned more than 25 international awards, including the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Entertainment and New York’s Drama Desk Award.

Known for its dreamlike imagery and immersive staging, the show blurs the boundary between audience and stage. Highlights include drifting red balloons, floating soap bubbles, giant balls bouncing through the crowd, and its iconic snowstorm finale that transforms the auditorium into a blizzard of paper snow.
Organisers say the production speaks across generations. Children respond to its playful mischief, teenagers to its quiet melancholy, and adults to its tenderness and nostalgia.
The show will be staged in the 575-seat New Covent Garden Theatre, designed for intimate yet world-class live performances. The venue’s scale, organisers note, makes it a perfect setting for the production’s mix of spectacle and subtlety.

Performance times are Tuesday to Thursday at 7:30 pm, Friday and Saturday at 4 pm and 8 pm, and Sunday at 2 pm and 6 pm. Tickets are expected to sell quickly, following last year’s strong demand.
