Speaking at the inauguration, Ambassador Tirmizi lauded the country’s robust growth in the technology sector, noting that Pakistan’s IT exports to the UAE reached USD 376 million in FY 2024–25, while global IT exports surpassed USD 3.76 billion. He said the figures reflect Pakistan’s rising competitiveness in the international digital economy.

Rafique Ahmed Buriro emphasised that Pakistan’s participation at Expand North Star 2025 underscores the government’s vision to empower youth through technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

“These start-ups are not only ambassadors of Pakistan’s digital potential but also vital contributors to our national goal of achieving sustainable economic growth through the knowledge economy,” he said.

Buriro invited investors, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals to visit the Pakistan Pavilion (Hall 8, Stand No. H8-B180) to experience first-hand the innovation and creativity shaping Pakistan’s start-up ecosystem.
