Dubai, UAE – France is set to make a strong showing at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025, with 56 French companies gearing up to present sustainable, high-tech innovations tailored to the evolving needs of the UAE and wider GCC food industry.
Held from November 4 to 6, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the French Pavilion will span two key zones: 35 manufacturers of equipment and packaging technologies in Sheikh Saeed Hall 1 (Booth S1-C28), and 21 ingredient specialists in Sheikh Rashid Hall (Booth R-J19).
The delegation, coordinated by Business France, will highlight the country’s latest advances in food processing, automation, and sustainable sourcing — key themes of this year’s Gulfood Manufacturing.
Innovations Driving a Sustainable Food Future
Aligned with the exhibition’s focus on sustainable sourcing, automation, digitalisation, and next-generation food safety, the French Pavilion will feature innovations ranging from plant-based ingredients and reformulated healthier components to eco-friendly packaging and precision-engineered processing systems.
“France is committed to working closely with UAE partners to develop solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and promote sustainability across the food value chain,” said Axel Baroux, Business France Near & Middle East Director. “The strength of the French Pavilions lies in their diversity — uniting ingredient creators and technology providers to deliver integrated solutions that serve every stage of production.”
French exhibitors will also bring robotics, monitoring technologies, and traceability systems that meet the highest international standards for safety and quality — directly supporting the UAE’s Vision 2030 and the country’s net-zero and food security ambitions.
From Ingredients to Advanced Processing Solutions
Visitors to the French Pavilion can expect a wide range of high-value ingredients including dairy and egg derivatives, flavorings, freeze-dried components, and pastry solutions — all designed to improve product performance, taste, and shelf life.

On the technology side, French manufacturers will present packaging and processing systems ranging from silicone molds and labeling machines to next-generation packaging lines engineered for both efficiency and environmental performance.
Supporting the UAE’s Fast-Growing Food Sector
With the UAE’s food manufacturing industry projected to grow at a 6.9% CAGR between 2022 and 2028, French suppliers are well-positioned to support local manufacturers in achieving greater sustainability, productivity, and innovation.
According to UAE officials, the country hosts 568 food and beverage factories, and demand for high-quality, traceable, and sustainable inputs continues to rise.
“Collaborating with French companies provides us with the tools to address market-specific challenges like sustainable packaging and innovative product formulations,” said a UAE-based food manufacturer.
France currently ranks as the 11th largest supplier to the UAE, with more than 2,000 French companies operating in the food manufacturing sector — nearly 60% of which export regularly.
A Trusted Partner for Regional Growth
As the Middle East’s food industry evolves toward sustainability and innovation, France remains a key strategic partner, offering world-class expertise and technology.
“The synergy between France’s ingredient specialists and equipment manufacturers is what makes our presence at Gulfood Manufacturing unique,” added Baroux. “Together, we are building the food industries of tomorrow — efficient, safe, and sustainable.”
