Dubai, UAE – Global technology company Zoho has launched an enhanced version of its AI-powered document scanning application, Zoho Scanner, aimed at improving document management for both personal and business users.
The next-generation app uses artificial intelligence to deliver advanced features such as automatic document edge detection, image enhancement, background noise removal and high-accuracy optical character recognition (OCR). It also includes built-in multilingual translation capabilities, with full Arabic language support.
Zoho said the inclusion of Arabic will help users across the UAE and wider Middle East region to digitise, translate and manage documents written in Arabic, making it particularly useful for businesses, government entities and individuals.
“The addition of Arabic support makes Zoho Scanner an ideal tool for organisations and communities operating in multilingual environments,” the company said in a statement.
The new version also offers AI-based auto-tagging and categorisation to organise documents more efficiently. The cross-platform application enables users to scan and access documents from both mobile and desktop devices. It also integrates with Zoho’s broader suite of business tools, including Zoho CRM, Zoho WorkDrive and Zoho Expense, to support enterprises seeking to digitise their workflows.

The launch aligns with the UAE’s Paperless Strategy 2021–2025, which aims to eliminate the use of paper in government operations. Zoho said its solution provides a secure, affordable and privacy-first option for those adopting smarter digital document practices.
“Zoho Scanner reflects our ongoing commitment to privacy-first, AI-driven innovation,” the company added. “With its comprehensive features and ease of use, it is designed to serve both individual and professional users globally.”
