Dubai, UAE: Beautyworld Middle East 2025 concluded last week, setting new global benchmarks for the 29-year-old exhibition and firmly establishing Dubai as the definitive global capital for the beauty and wellness industry.

Held from October 27 to 29 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the flagship event drew a record-breaking 85,297 total visitors from 178 countries. This figure marks an extraordinary surge of nearly 20% compared to 2024’s attendance, underscoring the massive international appetite for the Middle East’s booming beauty market.

Event Scale and International Reach

Organised by Messe Frankfurt Middle East, the 2025 edition was its most ambitious yet, featuring more than 2,500 exhibitors from around the world a 30% increase on last year’s record-breaking numbers. The show’s physical footprint expanded dramatically, adding six new halls for a total of 22 halls packed with global innovation across fragrance, cosmetics, skincare, beauty tech, and packaging.

“This year’s edition wasn’t just about size it was about international reach,” commented Ravi Ramchandni, Event Director, Beautyworld Middle East. “The 2025 show united beauty professionals, innovators, and creators from every corner of the world, confirming Dubai’s status as the global meeting point for the beauty industry.”

Innovation and New Zones Drive Global Focus

The exhibition marked a significant strategic shift from a regional showcase to a fully international summit, with strong attendance from Asia, Europe, and the Americas complementing the robust GCC presence.

The expanded format introduced several high-profile new and enhanced features:

  • Next in Fragrance & Next in Beauty Conferences: The debut conferences hosted over 150 global experts, visionaries, and emerging brands, focusing on critical topics like sustainability and evolving consumer trends.
  • Natural Notes: A new, dedicated zone showcased nine players in sustainable and nature-derived fragrance ingredients, highlighting the global shift towards “clean” perfumery.
  • Quintessence – the Art of Perfume: The luxury fragrance showcase expanded to a record size, hosting more than 100 niche and luxury houses and serving as a bridge for East-West olfactory artistry.
  • Makeup Studio: Made a dazzling debut with masterclasses from global celebrity names, including Hung Vanngo, Nikki Wolff, and Bassam Fattouh.
  • BeautyLIVE by Fresha: Featured live demonstrations and international talent. The event also saw the SMNT team break a new Guinness World Record for the most beard shaves and trims.

This growth aligns with the region’s expanding market influence. The MENA beauty and personal care industry is forecast to reach approximately US $60 billion by 2025, a trend driven by consumer demand for premium and innovative products. The exhibition acts as the crucial link connecting international brands to these fast-growing markets.

“We’ve seen extraordinary momentum — not just from the Middle East but globally,” Mr. Ramchandni added. “From fragrance to packaging to emerging tech, Beautyworld Middle East 2025 has shown that Dubai is now the global heartbeat of beauty innovation.”

Awards and Signature Scent

The event culminated with the Beautyworld Middle East Awards 2025, celebrating excellence across packaging, sustainability, and talent. Furthermore, the Signature Scent competition, where visitors voted for a bespoke show fragrance, crowned Spanish fragrance house EMSA as the winner for its Middle Eastern-inspired scent, ‘Lumière D’Orient.’
